Note: This time of year is always very busy for me. Last year, I hadn't really started blogging yet, so I was able to keep myself above the craziness. This year, I am. My blog is slightly inactive due to the holiday craze. Hopefully will return to the regular posting after the new year. :)

Hush, Hush - Review

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

"I heard the impact before I registered the dark silhouette skidding across the hood of the car."

This book came out quite a while ago, but I hadn't read it. Under further persuasion, from someone who shall remain unnamed, I bought a copy.
At first it was hard to get into, because the story moved a little slowly. It was the sort of thing where as soon as I got into it, I had to put the book down for a while, because a teacher would resume speaking. I think that made the book suffer when it shouldn't of had to.
However, one night I picked it up, being on chapter twenty, and finished it.
I was flipping pages, mouth open and eyes wide, racing to the finish. The book itself is fantastic. I just had to sit down and read for it register.
I adore how this book intertwines a mystery into the romance and fear. It's always lurking in the back of your mind, whispering "Is it him? It could be him." I loved how throughout the entire thing I was pointing fingers at someone, just as Nora did, but in the end it all clicked.
Overall, the book is amazing. I loved, and hated when necessary, the characters. The tension is put into focus at the right times, which made me like the novel even more. There's nothing worse than a girl who constantly whines about a boy, especially if she's being stalked by some creep in a ski mask.
Out of five stars, I give this a 4.5.

I loved Hush, Hush. Even from the beginning. Patch was just...amazing. My friend despised it though. I've heard so many different opinions on this book, but it's great that you enjoyed it!

I love this book so much but I loved Crescendo even more somehow. I cannot wait for Silence, literally CANNOT wait! Becca Fitzpatrick is such an amazing author. I just all these characters too!
